Do you want the prize?

'Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you; for him hath God the Father sealed.'
John 6.27

'Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.'
1 Cor. 9.24

Do not waste your life persuing those things that do not matter, but live persue those things which honor your Father in Heaven. Run the race He has set before, run that you may obtain.

Jesus is Above All

'He must increase, but I must decrease. He that cometh from above is above all; he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth; He that cometh from heaven is above all.'
John 3.30-31

Jesus is the Light

'And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.'
John 3. 19-21

'Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world; he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life.'
John 8. 12

'Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the Light with you. Walk while ye have the Light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have Light, believe in the Light, that ye may be the children of Light. '
John 12.35-36

'I am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me should not abide in darkness.'
John 12.46

Love the Light. Walk not in darkness. Believe in the Light. Abide not in darkness. He is the Light.

John 1.1-14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through Him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. But as many as recieved Him, to them gave He power to wecome the sons of God, even to the that believe on His name. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
